Chellaston Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Bridge Joint Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHELLASTON LANE, ASTON-UPON-TRENT
WHEN: 01 November to 05 November 2024 (20:00 to 05:00).
WHERE: Chellaston Lane, Aston-upon-Trent from its Jct. with Aston Lane for an approx. distance of 1.8km south.
REASON: To facilitate bridge joint replacement on structures over A50.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Aston Lane, Snelsmoor Lane, Shardlow Road, B5010 London Road, Broad Lane, Derby Road, Weston Road, Chellaston Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
