TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (NAILSWORTH AND HORSLEY PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the schedule below.

The reason for the road closures is for Ash tree dieback works.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said lengths of road and emergency access will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401448 BEAR HILL TO LOWER LITTLEWORTH, AMBERLEY (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401448 Bear Hill to Lower Littleworth, Amberley from its junction with Bear Hill to Lower Littleworth Amberley for a distance of approximately 122.0 meters.

The road is expected to be closed from 6th November 2024 to 8th November 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Temporary access, and pedestrian access to adjacent properties, will be maintained.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (30, 40 & 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS) (A419) (VARIOUS PARISHES) (STROUD DISTRICT & COTSWOLD DISTRICT) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Sections 82 & 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes:

  1. To introduce the speed limits detailed in the schedules below, on the lengths of road shown.
  2. To introduce a new speed limit by amending the 30mph speed limit Traffic Order and on-the-site situation on Stroud Road in Cirencester, by revoking the existing Traffic Order and introducing a 30mph speed limit by virtue of street lighting for the extent that lighting and Traffic Orders are detailed.
  3. To re-propose the existing 40mph speed limit on London Road from Stroud to Chalford to consolidate the situation on the A419 into one single Order, and to rectify anomalies between what is signed on-site and detailed on the Traffic Order. This change does not change any speed limit but will bring them in-line on paper.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A46 BATH ROAD (RODBOROUGH PARISH/STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to temporarily close part of the A46 Bath Road, from its junction with Rodborough Hill to its junction with Frome Hall Lane, for a distance of approximately 100 meters.

The road is expected to be closed from 19:00hrs on 21st November 2024 until 06:00hrs on 22nd November 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
