Temporary Closure of Charity Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Charity Lane - from the junction with Vobster Cross to Hatchet Hill, westwards for a total distance of 71 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 31st October 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 4th November 2024 and last until 8th November 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
