PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U20007 Warbage Lane, Dodford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20007 Warbage Lane from its junction with C2062 Dordale Road to its junction with U20009 Yarnold Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2062 Dordale Road, U20009 Yarnold Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 26 November 2024 and 9 December 2024.

(A38 Roman Way, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of A38 Roman Way from its junction with the right-hand filer lane on to the B4065 Bromsgrove Road for a distance of 82 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Installation of sign and posts in central reservation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Roman Way Eastbound, A38 Rashwood Interchange, A38 Roman Way Westbound.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 4 November 2024.

(C2142 Bishops Wood Road, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2142 Bishops Wood Road from its junction with U40207 Comhampton Lane for a distance of 120 metres to the Ombersley Golf Club.

Reason: New electricity cable by National Grid Electricity Distribution.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2142 Bishops Wood Road (part), C2141 Owlhill Lane, A449 Sytchamoton to Mitre Oak, A4025 Stourport Road, C2142 Bishops Wood Lane, C2142 Bishops Wood Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 November 2024.

(U22205 Banks Green, Upper Bentley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U22205 Banks Green from its junction with C2045 Copyholt Lane to its junction with U22203 Angel Street.

Reason: New replacement electricity cable by Western Power Distribution.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U22203 Black Lake Lane, U22202 Middle Road, C2045 Copyholt Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 November 2024.

U20218 Waystone Lane, Broom Hill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20218 Waystone Lane from its junction with C2062 Dordale Road to its junction with U13603 Broom Hill.

Reason: Installation of overhead cabling by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20218 Waystone Lane (part) C2062 Dordale Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 November 2024.

(C2138 Hunts Green, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2138 Hunts Green from its junction with U40201 Bournehouse Lane for a distance of 500 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Accessing the structure to carry out fibre optic cabling by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2138 Hadley Heath, C2086 Hadley Heath to Ladywood Road, U41200 Porters Mill Lane, C2138 Ladywood and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 November 2024.

(U40201 Bournehouse Lane, Hawford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U40201 Bournehouse Lane from its junction with C2138 Hadley Heath to its junction with U40200 Chatley Lane.

Reason: Accessing the structure to carry out fibre optic cabling by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U40201 Bournehouse Lane (part), U40200 Chatley Lane, C2086 Hawford to Hadley Heath Road, C2138 Hadley Heath and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 25 November 2024.

(U41720 Westwood Road, Droitwich Spa) (One Way Closure) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024 Proposed Order: To close that part of U41720 Westwood Road from its junction with A38 Westwood Roundabout to its junction with U41758 Meadow Road.

Reason: Kerb adjustments as part of installation of Toucan Crossings on A38 Roman Way by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2255 Kidderminster Road, C2255 Salwarpe Road, C2254 Ombersley Way, U41720 Briar Mill, U41720 Westwood Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 21 days (24hrs). Commencing: 23 November 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Droitwich area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Celvestune Way, Droitwich]

On 17 October 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Droitwich: -Celvestune Way, Droitwich (North Side): From a point 10 metres east of its junction with The Dale for a distance of 29 metres in an easterly direction.

East side: From a point 5 metres north of its junction with Blake Avenue for a distance of 86 metres in a northerly direction. From its junction with Bower Hill for a distance of 110 metres in a southerly direction and a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

South side: From the garage block access opposite Chawson Pleck for a distance of 19 metres in a westerly direction and a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. West side: From a point 5 metres north of its junction with Blake Avenue for a distance of 166 metres in a northerly direction. From a point 10 metres north of its junction with Bower Hill for a distance of 78 metres in a southerly direction.

Bower Hill, Droitwich (Both sides): From its junction with Celvestune Way for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 7 November 2024.
