What is happening?

Essex County Council

(Billericay Road, Herongate) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Billericay Road, Herongate in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Blind Lane to its junction with Dunton Road a distance of approximately 885m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th November 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2376141 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Dunton Road, Rectory Road, Clock House Road, Botney Hill Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 6th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ingatestone Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ingatestone Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Wenlocks Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th November 2024 for 1day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA78039625RCSB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Ingatestone Road, Mountnessing Road, Swallows Cross Road, Thoby Lane, Roman Road, Mountnessing-ingatestone Link Road, High Street, Fryerning Lane, Blackmore Road, Mill Green Road, Chelmsford Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 6th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ingatestone Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ingatestone Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 60m north east of its junction with Mountnessing Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410247760- Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Ingatestone Road, Mountnessing Road, Swallows Cross Road, Thoby Lane, Roman Road, Mountnessing-ingatestone Link Road, Trueloves Lane, Green Street, Blackmore Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23rd October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kavanaghs Road, Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kavanaghs Road, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 110m south east of its junction with Westwood Avenue for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 1 night (22:00-5:00, or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1-17-59-111124 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while structure examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Kavanaghs Road, London Road, High Street, Kings Road, Queens Road, Warley Hill, Crescent Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23rd October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mascalls Lane, Great Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mascalls Lane, Great Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Watlington Gardens for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA002FBR19494 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while joint box repair works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Warley Hill, Kings Road, High Street, London Road, Mascalls Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23rd October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Stocks Lane, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stocks Lane, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 25m south east of its junction with Broad Meadow for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N5005N0024131-1E-SF-EUL – The Electricity Network Company Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.

An alternative route is available via Stocks Lane, Blackmore Road, Place Farm Lane, Church Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23rd October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
