What is happening?

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 20/11/2024 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake boundary box installation works & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Baggrave Hall Rd, Beeby Rd, Hungarton Ln, Ingarsby Rd, from Barley Leas to Ingarsby Rd, Barley Leas, Main St & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/11/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 week. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Network Rail to undertake inspection works of the Railway Bridge & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Swan St, The Banks, Brook St, High St & vice versa.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 30 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to the 14/04/2025. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Chevron Traffic Management to undertake urgent replacement of lock gates.
