HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu, ymhen o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno dros dro’r cyfyngiadau a amlinellir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn hanfodol oherwydd lled annigonol y briffordd er mwyn cynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod y gwaith adnewyddu goleuadau stryd, ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 19/11/2024 a bydd yn weithredol am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa bynnag un a ddaw gyntaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith sydd wedi’i gynllunio yn digwydd rhwng yr oriau 09:30am a 15:30pm ar 19/11/2024.
Amserlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson yn achosi i unrhyw gerbyd ddefnyddio’r ffordd ar hyd Heol Pen-y-Cae o’i chyffordd gyda phont droed M4 hyd at rif 1 Heol Pen-Y-Cae.
Gall cerbydau ddilyn llwybr arall drwy: Llwybr Gwyro dros dro 1 i gerbydau: Heol Pen-YCae, cylchfan A4061 Pen-Y-Cae, Pont tua’r Gogledd A4061 dros M4, A4063 Ffordd Gyswllt Sarn tua’r Gorllewin, A4063 Heol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, Heol Pen-Y-Cae.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PEN-Y-CAE LANE, PEN-Y-CAE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during renewing lamp posts and is in the interest of public safety. The Order will come into force on the 19/11/2024 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:30am and 15:30pm on 19/11/2024.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pen-Y-Cae Lane from its junction with Pen-Y-Cae access lane to M4 foot Bridge to number 1 Pen-Y-Cae Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles is via: Temporary Diversion Route for vehicles 1: Pen-Y-Cae Lane, A4061 Pen-Y-Cae roundabout, A4061 North Bound Bridge over M4, A4063 Sarn Link West Bound, A4063 Bridgend Rd, PenY-Cae Lane. Temporary Diversion Route 2: Pen-Y-Cae Lane, A4063 Bridgend Rd, A4063 Sarn Link East Bound, A4061 South Bound Bridge over M4, A4061 Pen-Y-Cae roundabout, Pen-Y-Cae Lane. Access to all emergency services will be maintained during the restrictions and access to all properties will be maintained at all times. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
