Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council made the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and affect of the Order will be as follows City of Manchester (Controlled Parking Zone) (Manchester City Centre) (No.7) Amendment No.22 Order 2024 No Waiting At Any Time on : Heyrod St - NW side from a point 36m SW of its junction with Norton St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 6m. NW side from its junction with Norton St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 19m. SE side from its junction with Norton St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 59m. W side from a point 59 metres SW of its junction with Norton St in a south westerly direction to its junction with Portugal St East. Longacre St - SE side from its junction with Chapeltown St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 47m. SE side from a point 64m south west of its junction with Chapeltown St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 53m. Parking Places to be included in Schedule 5 to the Order of 2005 : Heyrod St
- NW side from a point 19m SW of its junction with Norton St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 17m. Heyrod St - SE side from a point 6m NE of its junction with Betley St in a north easterly direction to a point 59m south westerly of its junction to Norton St. Longacre St - SE side from a point 47m SW of its junction with Chapeltown St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 17m. Parking Places to be included in Schedule 6 to the Order of 2005: Heyrod St - NW side from a point 42m SW of its junction with Norton St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 17m. Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals.

The Order will come into operation on the 30th October 2024. Copy of the made Order together with the plans showing the proposals may be inspected at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Mon - Fri.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may within 6 weeks from 25th October 2024 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
