What is happening?

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 18/11/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order.
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow JW Building & Groundwork Services Ltd on behalf of Taylor Wimpey & their appointed contractors to undertake remedial works to defects & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Coventry Rd, A5 J A47/B4666 R/bout, A5 from J A47/B4666 R/bout to Start of Dualling South of Hinckley Including R/bout, Hammonds Wy, Hinckley & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITON OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 04/11/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order.
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water & their contractors to undertake installation of new apparatus & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Chesterfield Wy, Mayfield Wy, Barwell & vice versa. Any existing restrictions imposed on those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.
