Coventry Lane - Revocation Of 40 Mph Speed Limit

(A6002 Coventry Lane, Bramcote) (40 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024 (5322)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe :-
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on A6002 Coventry Lane, Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe - from a point 55 metres north-east of its northeastern- most junction with Longden Close in a northeasterly direction to a point 274 metres south-west of its junction with Sharnford Way
2. The following Order is hereby revoked in so far as it relates to the lengths of road specified in the schedule to this Order "The Nottinghamshire County Council (A6002 Coventry Lane, Bramcote) (50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2017 (5244)".
3. Any previous speed limit order made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or any enactment replaced by that Act in so far as it related to the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Order is hereby revoked. Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours :-

This Order Will Come Into Force On 31st October 2024.
The reduction in speed limit has been introduced in order to fulfil a planning condition and to help to improve road safety for all road users.
