WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH No.16, BROADCLYST)pt PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2024

On 8 October 2024 Devon County Council confrmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.The efect of the Order as confrmed is to divert part of public Footpath No.16, Broadclyst running from its current route from Mooredge Farm through bog and across two felds, to a new route running along a track north west from Mooredge Farm, Broadclyst at point A GR SX(9794,9803) to a feld gate at point D GR SX(9788,9808) and then along the eastern boundary of a feld in a north easterly direction to point E GR SX(9795,9818) and then in a northerly direction to point C GR SX(9791,9828) as shown on the order map CCET/PROW/24/08. 

A copy of the Order as confrmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the ofces of East Devon District Council, Border Road, Heathpark, Honiton, EX14 1EJ from 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, and can be viewed and downloaded at www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay
The order came into force on 15 October 2024, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act as amended or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, they may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
