Temporary Closure of Victoria Avenue
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Victoria Avenue - from the junction with Furnham Road to the junction with Great Western Road, for a total distance of 72 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out trial holes to identify location of services within the highway.
The Order becomes effective on 31st October 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 4th November 2024 and last until 8th November 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
