THORN ROAD, THORN DRIVE AND COLQUHOUN
DRIVE, BEARSDEN)
(TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024
On 24 October 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any motor vehicle to wait at any time, by reason of public safety and convenience, on:-
(i) either side of Ledcameroch Road, Bearsden between its junctions with the A809 Drymen Road and Whitehill Road, Bearsden;
(ii) either side of Whitehill Road, Bearsden between its junctions with Ledcameroch Road and Thorn Road, Bearsden;
(iii) either side of Thorn Road, Bearsden between its junctions with Whitehill Road and Thorn Drive, Bearsden;
(iv) either side of Thorn Drive, Bearsden between its junctions with Thorn Road and Colquhoun Drive, Bearsden;
(v) either side of Colquhoun Drive, Bearsden between its junctions with Thorn Drive and the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours until 12:00 hours on Sunday, 10 November 2024.

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
On the 24 October 2024 the East Dunbartonshire
Council made the above named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden between its junctions with Ledcameroch Road, Bearsden and Colquhoun Drive, Bearsden, for reasons of public safety and convenience.
This Order will operate from 10.00 hours until 12.00 hours on Sunday, 10 November 2024.
Alternative Routes
The alternative route for vehicles travelling northwards on Drymen Road will be by way of Ledcameroch Road, Whitehill Road, Thorn Road, Thorn Drive, Colquhoun Drive and then returning to Drymen Road, Bearsden. Vehicles travelling southwards on Drymen Road should travel vice-versa. Vehicles travelling westwards on Roman Road will be diverted via Douglas Place, New Kirk Road and then northwards only on Drymen Road, Bearsden.
