TOWN COUNCIL STOKESLEY TOWN COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Stokesley Town Council proposes to make an Off-Street Parking Places Order in exercise of its powers under Sections 35 and 57 and Schedule 9 (Part IV) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order is as follows:
1. To include The Plain, College Square, Land on Bridge Road adjacent to the Police Station, and land the southern side of the High Street from Bridge Road to the junction with West Green.
2. In respect of The Plain and College Square long stay parking is to be permitted without the need for display of a parking disc.
3. To provide for suspension of parking places on market days and in relation to Stokesley Fair.
Full details are contained in the Order which, with the Statement of Reasons, can be inspected at the Town Council Office, the Town Hall, Stokesley and at The Globe Library, Stokesley during normal opening hours until 15 November 2024.
If anyone wishes to object or to make any representation on this Order, the objection or representation with the grounds for making it, should be made in writing to the Town Clerk, Stokesley Town Council, the Town Hall, Stokesley not later than 15 November 2024.
