Tunbridge Wells, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

 

B2017 Crockhurst Street, Tudeley, TN11 0NT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow manhole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2017 Crockhurst Street, Tudeley, on or after 19th November 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from 1 to 4, between the hours 22:30 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2027 Crockhurst Street, B2017 Five Oak Green Road, B2017 Badsell Road, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Colts Hill, A228 Maidstone Road A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury Slip Northbound, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Tonbridge Bypass, A21 Tonbridge Bypass Slip Road, A2014 Vauxhall Slip Northbound Off, A21 Vauxhall Roundabout, A26 Woodgate Way, B2017 Tudeley Road, Crockhurst Street and vice versa.

 

Lansdowne Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2JL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lansdowne Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 19th November 2024 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Calverley Road and the junction of Garden Road, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Garden Road, Camden Road, Calverley Road, Lansdowne Road and vice versa.

 

Newcomen Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN4 9SA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow supply renewal works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Newcomen Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 23rd November 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction of A26 St. Johns Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Newcomen Road, Currie Road, Queens Road, A26 St Johns Road and vice versa.

 

Walkhurst Road, Benenden, TN17 4DS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Walkhurst Road, Benenden, on or after 4th November 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Tamarama. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Walkhurst Road, B2086 The Street, New Pond Road, Goddards Green Road, Walkhurst Road and vice versa.
