Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

GRAVESHAM AREA

 

Cobham Street, Gravesend, DA11 0PL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of pipe replacement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cobham Street, Gravesend, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside numbers 26-30. The one way order will be suspended to allow access.

The alternative route is via Darnley Road, Arthur Street, A227 Wrotham Road and vice versa.

 

The Shore, Northfleet, DA11 9AN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Shore, Northfleet, between 19.00hrs and 06.00hrs from 21st November 2024 to 29th November 2024 or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed opposite Mean High Water.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Walnut Hill Road, Gravesend, DA13 9HL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Walnut Hill Road, Gravesend, on or after 4th November 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near Three Gables.

The alternative route is via Walnut Hill Road, Nash Bank, A227 Wrotham Road, Park Hill, Stony Corner and vice versa.
