Lexham Mews - Temporary Road Closures For Scafolding Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES LEXHAM MEWS
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR SCAFOLDING WORKS.
Lexham Mews to be closed at the junction of Lexham Gardens to outside of number 33 Lexham Mews.
To be closed on Friday 8th November 2024 from 08.00hrs until 15.00hrs with a backup date of Saturday 9th November 2024.
Diverted through traffic may use Lexham Mews, Stratford Road, Marloes Road, Lexham Gardens, in both directions, or Lexham Mews, Stratford Road, Earl’s Court Road, Lexham Gardens.
The One-way working of Lexham Mews, is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
