(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th November 2024 to 29th November 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
Roads affected - A388 Between Tavistock Road And Little Comfort, Lawhitton, A388 Between Little Comfort And Junction North West Of Monks Hill, Lezant, A388 Between Junction North West Of Monks Hill To Penpill, Treburley, for their entire lengths, Launceston and A388 Between Penpill And Launceston Road, Stoke Climsland, Callington between grid references SX 34871 75126 and SX 34821 74830.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works to restore service and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th November 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - North Beer Lane, Launceston and properties known as Benacott Cottages and Shepherds View.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Princes Street, Bude between the junctions of Queen Street and Burn View.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Bude) (One-Way Traffic) (Consolidation) Order 1989 - Queen Street (Unclassifed) between its junctions with Princes Street and Lansdown Road - for its entire length.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because new water connection works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 30th November 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 2nd December 2024.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included from 30th November 2024 to 1st December 2024 and between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays, on 2nd December 2024 only.
Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 26th April 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Woolley To Gooseham, Bude between properties known as Smugglers Cottage and Hackmarch.
The Order which commenced on the 27th April 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 24th January 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out works to repair a collapsed culvert.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
