What is happening?

(Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic)
Order 2024
WILTSHIRE ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along :- Wiltshire Road, from eastbound junction of Hessle Road to underneath the Hessle Road underpass, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during inspection works to approach spans of Hessle Road Flyover.
The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed on the day.
The Order will take effect on 20th November 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7.30pm on 20th November 2024 to 6.30am on 21st November 2024.

FOUNTAIN ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Fountain Road from its junction with Wincolmlee to 20 metres west of its junction with Main Street, Kingston upon Hull. The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 18th November 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed nightly from 6pm to 6am commencing 18th November 2024 until 29th November 2024.

BANKSIDE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Bankside, at the junction of Ferry Lane, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during building works to remove the old kiosk and the installation of a new kiosk.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 13th November 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed nightly between 10pm and 6am commencing 13th November 2024 until 15th November 2024.

BAKER STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Baker Street outside number 5, approximately 56m from Prospect Street, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to erect a structural steel frame using a mobile crane, which will be positioned in the carriageway.
The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 18th November 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 5.30pm commencing 18th November 2024 until 15th December 2024.

SILVER STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along :-
Silver Street at the junction with Lowgate, Kingston upon Hull. The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the servicing of the automated bollard system. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
Access will be maintained for emergency services. The Order will take effect on 18th November 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 10am and 2pm on 18th November 2024.
