Saltwell Park Area, Gateshead - Temporary Prohibit Vehicles to Enable a Fireworks Display
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF GATESHEAD (SALTWELL PARK AREA, GATESHEAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that on 24 October 2024, the Borough Council of Gateshead made an Order under section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, the effect of which will be to:-
i) temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the lengths of road listed in Schedule 1 below; and ii) temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or stopping along the lengths of road listed in Schedule 2 below; on Saturday 02 November 2024 during the hours set out in the Schedules.
The Order is necessary to enable a Fireworks Display to take place in the Saltwell Park area (“the Event”) and to ensure the safety of the public. There will be signed diversions in place for the duration of the Event. Emergency service vehicles on duty will be exempt from the prohibitions.
