(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (B7009 Carterhaugh, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing)
Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 3 November 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. The Order is required for BT pole replacement works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B7009 at Carterhaugh, Selkirk.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B7039, A708, A707 and B7009 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

(HORSEMARKET, KELSO)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (Horsemarket, Kelso) (Temporary Traffic Regulation)
Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 4 November 2024 until 16:00 on 8 November 2024. The Order is required for carriageway repairs.
When the Order comes into effect:
(a) no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Horsemarket, Kelso from Rose Lane to Cross Street.
The alternative westbound route is via Rose Lane, Shedden Park Road, the A698, the B6352, Station Road and Bridge Street to the point of closure.
(b) no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on:
(i) the North side of the road from the Square to Rose Lane, and
(ii) on the West side of the road from Mill Wynd southwards for a distance of 10 metres
(c) the Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Kelso) (Traffic Regulation) Order 2006 (as amended) will be further amended as follows: the One Way Order on Horsemarket from the Square to Cross Street will be rescinded for the duration of this order.

(WOODMARKET, KELSO)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (Woodmarket, Kelso) (Temporary Traffic Regulation)
Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 28 October 2024 until 16:00 on 1 November 2024. The Order is required for carriageway repairs.
When the Order comes into effect:
(a) no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along
Woodmarket, Kelso from Simon Square, westwards for a distance of 20 metres.
The alternative route is via the Square, Bridge Street, Maxwell Heugh, the A698 and Shedden Park Road to the point of closure.
(b) no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on:
(i) the South side of the road from the Square to Abbey Row,
(ii) on the North side of the road from Abbey Row, westwards for a distance of 40 metres: and
(iii) on the South side only from Bridge Street to Woodmarket.
(c) the Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Kelso) (Traffic Regulation) Order 2006 (as amended) will be further amended as follows: the One Way Order on Woodmarket the Square to Abbey Row and Bridge Street to Woodmarket will be rescinded for the duration of this order.

(B6364 GREENLAW TO HUME) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (B6364 Greenlaw to Hume) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6364 from the A6105 at Greenlaw to Hume.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the A6105, A6089 and B6364 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.
