What is happening?

THE FIFE COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, ROSYTH) (TEMPORARY 20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 restricting the speed of vehicular traffic to 20 m.p.h. on Queensferry Rd from A985(T) Queensferry Roundabout to Primrose Roundabout; King's Rd (B980) from A985(T) King's Rd Roundabout northerly for approx. 300m; Castle Rd from A985(T) King's Rd Roundabout southerly for approx. 100m; Castlandhill Rd (B980) from A985(T) Queensferry Roundabout southeasterly for approx. 590m and the entire lengths of Dick PI, Bumey PI, Hamilton PI and Lowry PI.

The Order, which is required in the interests of road safety and to compliment the 20 m.p.h. speed limit being introduced by Transport Scotland on the trunk road, will be operational from 1/11/2024 for 18 months.
