What is happening?

City Of Bristol
(Philip Street, Bedminster, Bristol)(Temporary One Way Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce, temporarily, north westbound one way traffic in that length of Philip Street from Whitehouse Lane to Stillhouse Lane. Exemption will be provided in the Order for pedal cycles. The Order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public on or near the road due to increased levels of congestion and will be operative from 10th November 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months (subject to necessary extension).ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Philip Street (part unaffected), East Street, Dalby Avenue, Malago Road, Hereford Street, Whitehouse Lane.


(KINGS WESTON LANE, LAWRENCE WESTON, BRISTOL)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS)ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians that length of Kings Weston Lane which extends from Tedder Street to Unnamed footpath between Kings Weston Lane and Tedder Street.The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 11th November 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 11th November 2024 and 16th January 2025).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE : Unnamed footpath between Kings Weston Lane and Tedder Street, Tedder Street and vice versa

(VARIOUS ROADS, HENGROVE, BRISTOL)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and
2. to prohibit, temporarily, any vehicle proceeding in a road specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 to this Notice, from making a right turn into the road specified in relation to that road in column 2 of the said Schedule.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 13th November 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between the times and dates specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice).

4. Filwood Park Lane – from Hengrove Way north westwards for 37 metres

5. Hengrove Way – from Airport Road to Hengrove Way Roundabout

SCHEDULE 3 – DURATIONS

1., 2., 3.,4. & 5. Overnight between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from 13th November 2024 to 16th November 2024 and overnight between 7.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. from 5th May 2025 for a 2-week duration

6. from 2nd December 2024 to 31st October 2025

7. from 6th January 2025 to 31st October 2025
