Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON OREGON WAY, DERBY
WHEN: 16 November 2024 to 17 November 2024 (Daily: 07:00 to 20:00 Only) WHERE: Oregon Way, at it’s junction with Derby Road, Derby REASON: Construction work ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road – Sunny Grove – Lexington Road – Lewiston Road – Oregon Way and the same in the opposite direction And Nottingham Road – Lime Grove – Lexington Road – Lewiston Road – Oregon Way and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ONE WAY SUSPENSION ORDER ON MEADOW ROAD (INBOUND), DERBY
WHEN: 18 November 2024 to 27 December 2024 WHERE: Meadow Road, on the East side of the access into Darwin Place Car Park – a distance of approximately 40 metres REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Meadow Road – Exeter Street – Derwent Street – Nottingham Road – Stores Road – Mansfield Road – A61 Sir Frank Whittle Road – The Pentagon – Eastgate
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON MOWBRAY STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 08 November 2024 WHERE: Mowbray Street, at its junction with Osmaston Road – for a distance of approximately 25 metres REASON: Electric works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mowbray Street – Tennyson Street – Waverley Street – Osmaston Road and the same in the opposite direction

WHEN: 11 November 2024 to 24 November 2024 WHERE: Parker Street, from its junction with Quarn Way to outside the Horse & Groom Public House – a distance of approximately 100 metres REASON: Electric works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Parker Street – Leaper Street – Mundy Street – Nuns Street – Brook Street – Bridge Street – Lodge Lane – Garden Street – Kedleston Street – Parker Street And Parker Street – Kedleston Street – Garden Street – Kedleston Road – Duffield Road – Lodge Lane – Bridge Street – Brook Street – Nuns Street – Mundy Street – Leaper Street – Parker Street
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON LAWRENCE STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 11 November 2024 to 13 November 2024 (Daily: 08:00 to 15:30 Only) WHERE: Lawrence Street, from its junction with Derby Lane to its junction with Duncan Road REASON: Carriageway resurfacing ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Lane – Randolph Road – Duncan Road and the same in the opposite direction
