Great Southern Street, Moss Side Ward - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic For Telecomunications Work

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER_ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order:
ORDER NO. MCC140731713: The City of Manchester (Great Southern Street, Moss Side Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Great Southern Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Crofton Street, Great Western Street, Ossory Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate telecomunications work. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 29th October 2024 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The order shall come into operation on 29th October 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
