Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst works to carriageway resurfacing
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Broomhouse Lane, Edlington
Lane, High Road, High Road Warmsworth Road A1m
Roundabout, Warmsworth Road, Warde Avenue, Springwell
Lane and vice versa. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and
access arrangements.

(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding the 30mph
speed limit on Askern Road at Carcroft in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in
that length of West Moor Link at Edenthorpe in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice
on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst continuation of works to facilitate essential
overhead line 66kv electrical works on behalf of Northern
Power Grid are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via West Moor Link
Thorne Road Roundabout, Thorne Road, Thorne Road Hatfield
Lane Roundabout, Armthorpe Lane, Hatfield Lane, West Moor
Link Hatfield Lane Roundabout and vice versa.

20:00hrs 6th November 2024 until 06:00hrs 9th November
2024. The road will reopen daily.
The closures will take place on three consecutive evenings
between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs only.
The works will be undertaken in phases and due to the nature
of the exact dates are subject to change. In the event of
engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather conditions, the
closure may extend beyond this date although all closures to
be completed by the 31st December 2024.
BLYTH ROAD TICKHILL DONCASTER

have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Blyth Road at Tickhill in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to construct the new section of the
carriageway are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Bawtry Road, Tickhill Road, High
Street, Great North Road, Bawtry Road, Blyth Road, Tickhill
Road and vice versa. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and

INTRODUCTION OF 30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMITS
TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
EXTENSION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above named Order made by
City of Doncaster Council on the 23rd day of May 2024 which
came into force on the 24th day of May 2023 has been
continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State
for Transport under section 15(3) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 up to and including the
31st day of January 2025. The Order would otherwise have
expired on the 31st day of October 2024.
The Order was made to ensure the safety of the public and
the workforce in order that sufficient carriageway width
remains for vehicles travelling past the area of works whilst
traffic signals are in place during S278 roundabout works for
new Avant Homes housing development.
Reason for the extension of the temporary order is delays to
works programme, risk to health and safety of the travelling
public due to no electrical connection to establish permanent
streetlighting to the new road layout and delays
with contractors.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is Hatfield Lane, Thorne Road,
Edenthorpe and vice versa.

distance of 457m.
2. Introduce a 30 mph temporary speed limit at a point
immediately east of its junction with Mere Lane in an easterly
direction to its junction with Hatfield Lane Westbound
direction.
3. Introduce a 30 mph temporary speed limit at its junction
with Hatfield Lane to a point immediately east of its junction
with Mere Lane .

TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
EXTENSION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above named Order made by
City of Doncaster Council on the 25th day of July 2024 which
came into force on the 2nd day of August 2024 has been
continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State
for Transport under section 15(3) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 up to and including the
31st day of January. The Order would otherwise have expired
on the 31st day of October 2024.
The Order was made to ensure the safety of the public and
the workforce whilst continuation of works for the construction
of the new roundabout are undertaken.
Reason for the extension of the temporary order is due to
delays to work programme, risk to health and safety of the
travelling public due to no electrical connection to establish
permanent streetlighting and delays with contractors.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is Hatfield Lane, Thorne road,
Edenthorpe and vice versa.
The order will continue in force up to and including the 31st
day of January 2025 or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out in the said road have been completed, whichever is
the earlier. If the works are not completed within the time
stated, the Order may be further extended with the approval of
