Proposed Order: To close that part of U50133 Tennis Walk from its junction with U50116 Landsowne Road to its junction with C2294 Chestnut Walk.
Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2294 Chestnut Walk, U50116 Lansdowne Road, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 18 November 2024.
(Link Footpath F50437 Glenthorne Avenue (no.80/82) to Hazel Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50437 Glenthorne Avenue (no.80/82) to Hazel Close from its junction with U51302 Glenthorne Avenue to its junction with U51310 Hazel Close.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U51310 Hazel Close, U51309 Linden Road, U51306 Trout Beck Drive, U51229 Ambleside Drive, U51214 Langdale Drive, U51302 Glenthorne Avenue and vice versa.

(U54233 Bromwich Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U54233 Bromwich Road from its junction with A449 Bromwich Road for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction (only the access from the A449 to U54233 is to be closed).
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Bromwich Road, U54233 Bromwich Road (part) and vice versa.

(Link Footpath F50084 Kleve Walk: South Quay - Severn Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50084 Kleve Walk: South Quay - Severn Street from its junction with U53133 Severn Street for a distance of 140 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Tree Maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U53133 Severn Street, U53132 Edgar Street, A44 College Street, A44 Deansway, U53128 Copenhagen Street, Link Footpath F50084 Kleve Walk/South Quay (part) and vice versa.

(U51007 Gillam Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U51007 Gillam Street from its junction with U51000 Green Lane to its junction with U51008 Goodrest Walk.
Reason: Remedial work by Kier Utilities.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U51000 Green Lane, U51024 Mayfield Road, U51025 Barker Street, U51007 Gilliam Street (part) and vice versa.

(U50108 Northfield Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U50108 Northfield Street from its junction with A38 Sansome Walk to its junction with U50109 East Street.
Reason: Street lighting maintenance by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion 1 - Anticlockwise A38 Sansome Walk, U50102 Little Southfield Street, U50103 Southfield Street, U50106 Washington Street U50108 Northfield Street (part). Diversion 2 - Clockwise, U50109 East Street, U50110 Arboretum Road. Diversion 3 - A38 Sansome Walk, A38 Sansome Street, A38 St Nicholas Street, A38 Foregate Street, A38 The Tything, U50113 St Oswalds Road and vice versa.

(Link Footpath F50322 Tolladine Road (between Playgrounds), Warndon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50322 Tolladine Road (between Playgrounds) from its junction with U51159 Tolladine Road to its junction with Link Footpath F50326 Broadfield Gardens (between 25/29).
Reason: Fix broken connections by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Link Footpath F50326 Broadfield Gardens (between 25/29), U51191 Broadfield Gardens, U51190 Bearcroft Avenue, Link Footpath F50321 Bearcroft Avenue (between No 41/43), Link Footpath F50320 Tolladine Road to Woodgreen Drive, U51159 Tolladine Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 November 2024.
(U52111 Cromwell Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and (One-Way Traffic) on (U52111 Cromwell Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U52111 Cromwell Crescent from its junction with A44 London Road to its junction with U52112 Livingstone Street. The One-Way relating to this section of highway on U52111 Cromwell Crescent from its junction with A44 London Road to its junction with U52112 Livingstone Street is temporarily suspended and the parking bays along this route will be temporarily suspended to enable two-way traffic to access residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A44 London Road, U52115 Foxwell Street, U52112 Livingstone Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 November 2024.
(U50221 Bromsgrove Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Bromsgrove Street, Worcester) (One-way Traffic) Order 1980 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U50221 Bromsgrove Street from its junction with U50220 Gregorys Mill Street to its junction with U50215 Crown Street and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Bromsgrove Street, Worcester) (One-way Traffic) Order 1980 to allow two-way traffic to be able to access residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50220 Gregorys Mill Street, U50218 Melbourne Street, U50215 Crown Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 16 November 2024.
(C2064 Longley Green, Suckley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2064 Longley Green from its junction with U62217 Suckley to its junction with C1140 Suckley. Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2064 Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green, C2070 Suckley, C2244 Suckley, C2244 Crews Hill, C2244 Workhouse Bank, C2233 Alfrick, C2064 Alfrick Pound, C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane, Alfrick, C2064 Longley Green (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 29 October 2024.
(B4550 Brickfields Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4550 Brickfields Road from its junction with B4550 Blackpole Road to its junction with B4482 Astwood Road (Roundabout Chequers Public House).
Reason: Bridgeworks maintenance by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4482 Astwood Road, U51050 Bilford Road, B4550 Blackpole Road and vice versa. No access for emergency services diversion route will need to be followed.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 October 2024.
(U52015 Solent Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U52015 Solent Road from its junction with U52017 Humber Road to its junction with U52016 Dart Road.
Reason: Installation of dropped kerb by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U52015 Solent Road (part), U52014 Trent Road, B4636 Newtown Road, U52017 Humber Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 28 October 2024.
(C2032 Road from A4538 Pershore Lane to Crowle Road, Tibberton (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2032 Road from A4538 Pershore Lane to Crowle Road from its junction with C2032 Crowle Road for a distance of 200 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Safe working by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A4538 Pershore Lane, A422 Alcester Road, C2078 Broughton Hackett to Crowle, C2078 Church Road, C2032 Crowle Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 18 November 2024.
(C2064 Alfrick Pound, Alfrick) Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2064 Alfrick Pound from its junction with U62252 Alfrick to its junction with C2233 Alfrick.
Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note that there is no access for emergency services diversion route must be taken.
Alternative route: C2064 Alfrick Pound (part), C2233 Alfrick, C2065 Knightwick Road to Hopton Lane, C2245 Hopton Lane, C2064 Stitchins Hill, C2064 Bridges Stone and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 18 November 2024.
(C2256 Sinton Green, Grimley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2256 Sinton Green from its junction with U64008 Walton Lane for a distance of 113 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Washout installation by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2256 Dark Lane, A443 Main Road, C2068 Moseley Road, C2069 Sinton Green, C2256 Sinton Green (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 November 2024.
(U62022 Old Malvern Road, Powick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U62022 Old Malvern Road from its junction with A449 Malvern Road to its junction with U62023 The Drive.
Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Eastbound: A449 Malvern Road, C2027 Old Malvern Road. Diversion Westbound: U62023 The Drive, U62028 Colletts Green Road, U62028 Sparrowhall Lane, A449 Malvern Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 28 October 2024.
(U50329 Dorothy Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U50329 Dorothy Crescent from its junction with U50327 Collin Road for a distance of 47 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50327 Colin Road, U50329 Dorothy Crescent (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 28 October 2024.
(Bridleway SE-543, Footpaths SE-539 & SE-501 Spetchley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close Bridleway SE-543, Footpaths SE-539 & SE-501 Spetchley for their entire length. The Order has been made to facilitate the construction of a new S278 junction.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 18 November 2024.
(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Disabled Persons' Parking Space on Happy Land North, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking space on the following length and side of road in Worcester: Happy Land North, Worcester: from a point, 75 metres west of its junction with Happy Land West, for a distance of 6.6 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
