What is happening?

DORSET COUNCIL

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Woolsbridge Road, St Leonards and St Ives

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 18th November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11th July 2025.

This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas main replacement works.

The effect of the Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Woolsbridge Road, St Leonards and St Ives between A31 and Laurel Lane as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a temporary one-way traffic flow on; Woolsbridge Road, St Leonards and St Ives to allow traffic to travel northbound from Laurel Lane towards Horton Road as indicated by signs on site.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

20mph Speed Limit Orders 2024

Dorset Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce 20mph speed limits along sections of various roads in Cheselbourne, Child Okeford, Okeford Fitzpaine, Winterborne Kingston and Wimborne.

(Amendment No. 8) (Corfe View Road & Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 8th November 2024 the effect of the Order will be to:

• Introduce 'no waiting at any time' restrictions at Corfe View Road, Corfe Mullen

• Revoke 9 metres of the limited wait bay at Wareham Road (outside 145 Wareham Road), Corfe Mullen

• Introduce 10 metres of a 'no waiting at any time' restriction at Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen

Temporary Traffic Management Order of B3075, Morden

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to

make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as

amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations

which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of

danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:00 - 16:00 on 18th

November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated

that the works will be completed by 26th November 2024.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and

resurfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on B3075, Morden as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along B3075, Morden.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
