Broadway, Salford - Temporary One Way Order For Installation Of High Voltage Ducting And Cables In The Carriageway
What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salford made the CITY OF SALFORD (BROADWAY, SALFORD ) (TEMPORARY ONE WAY ) ORDER 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order shall be one-way eastbound road closure on Broadway, Salford, at the junction of the roundabout.
The diversion route will be via South Langworthy Road - Eccles New Road - Regent Road Roundabout - Trafford Road - Broadway.
The one-way road closure is required for the installation of high voltage ducting and cables in the carriageway.
The order is intended to come into operation on Monday 28th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 10th November 2024.
The closure will be in place 24 hours each day. Notices will also be displayed at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
