U6571 Glendale Avenue - Temporary Road Closure

U6571 GLENDALE AVENUE STAKEFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6571 Glendale Avenue Stakeford from number 2 to number 12 Glendale Avenue for a length of 49 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th November 2024 until the 20th December 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th November 2024 until the 13th December 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th December 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Fairway, Wansbeck Avenue, Beechwood Avenue and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks for gas mains replacement works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
