A193 Front Street - Temporary Road Closure

A193 FRONT STREET BEBSIDE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A193 Front Street Bebside for a length of 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd November 2024 until 5th November 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd November 2024 until 5th November 2024 between the hours of 22:30 and 06:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A193, A189, B1505, A193 and vice versa.
A shuttle bus will be provided for pedestrian traffic.

The closure has been requested by Centurion Traffic Management on behalf of Siemens to complete level crossing commissioning works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
