(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(NEWLANDS GROVE, NORTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Newlands Grove from No.28 to No.32 for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Bradford Road, Lydgate, Northowram Green, unaffected part of Newlands Grove and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(BACK STOCKS AVENUE, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Stocks Avenue from rear of No.12 to No.16 Stocks Avenue for a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(COPLEY LANE, COPLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by UCL Comms have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Copley Lane from its junction with Lower Skircoat Green and Dudwell Lane for a distance of approximately 87 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Copley Lane, Wakefield Road, Stainland Road, Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Dryclough Lane, Skircoat Green Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st November 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(CRAG LANE, WHEATLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Crag Lane from its junction with Mixenden Road and Jumples for a distance of approximately 262 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Straight Lane, Raw Lane, A629 Keighley Road, Nursery Lane, Denfield Lane, unaffected part of Crag Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 13:30.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Bank Lane from its junction with Rud Lane and Church Bank for a distance of approximately 93 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 13:30.
(DEAN HOUSE LANE, LUDDENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dean House Lane from its junction with Cow Lane in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 132 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Dean House Lane, New Road, Stocks Lane, Mount Tabor Road, Wainstalls Lane, Bank House Lane, Booth Hill and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 31st October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st October 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 15:00.
(PRESCOTT STREET/PORTLAND PLACE/SKIRCOAT ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadway UK Traffic Management Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Prescott Street/Portland Place/Skircoat Road from Oxford Road to St Johns Lane for a distance of approximately 160 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 31st October 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.
(FALL LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Fall Lane from its junction with Mearclough Road and Spark House Lane for a distance of approximately 355 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Spark House Lane, Sowerby Croft Lane, Boggart Lane, Norland Road, Holmes Road, Mearclough Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 13:00.
(LONDON ROAD, NORLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of London Road from its junction with Fall Lane and Milner Royd Lane for a distance of approximately 199 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Norland Town Road, Berry Moor Road, Sowerby Croft Lane, Spark House Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 12:00 & 16:00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back St Peter’s Avenue 1 from No.16 to No. 20 for a distance of approximately 21 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Farrar Mill Lane from Farrar Mill Yard to Hebble House for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Shaw Lane, Shaw Hill, A629 Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Rookery Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th November 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(TOWNGATE, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Towngate from Queen Street to Rooley Lane for a distance of approximately 365 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Pinfold Lane, Shield Hall Lane, Steep Lane, Mirey Lane, Hubberton Green Road, Rooley Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lighthazles Road from its junction with Gough Lane to Eccles Parlour for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Clay Pits Lane, Salt Drake, Lumb Lane, Mill Bank Road, Oak Lane, Rochdale Road, Halifax Road, Royd Lane, Stoney Lane, Lane Head Road, Cross Wells Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(MARTIN GREEN LANE, GREETLAND)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Martin Green Lane from its junction with Spring Lane in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 49 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring Lane, Sunnybank Road, Rochdale Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2024. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Site Services intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road either side of bridge structure for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 01:30 & 04:30.
(SMITHY CLOUGH LANE, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Smithy Clough Lane from its junction with Nursery Lane in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 152 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Nursery Lane, unaffected part of Smithy Clough Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(A58 BURDOCK WAY (HEBBLE VIADUCT), HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A58 Burdock Way from junction Orange Street Roundabout and Burdock Way and junction of Burdock Way and A647 towards Queensbury (Haley Hill) to junction of Burdock Way and New Bank (towards Brighouse) for a distance of approximately 446 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Orange Street, Broad Street/ Northgate, North Bridge, A58/A647 respectively. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th November 2024.
