What is happening?

(DEANHAUGH STREET AREA)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/194
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate resurfacing and public realm improvements works, no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Leslie Pl, at its jnct with Deanhaugh St; &
(b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) Deanhaugh St, from Dean St to Hamilton Pl/Saunders St; & (ii) Haugh St, in its entirety.
Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via: (1) Deanhaugh St, Dean St, St Bernard’s Cres & Leslie Pl; or (2) Leslie Pl, St Bernard’s Cres, Dean St, Cheyne St, Raeburn Pl & Deanhaugh St. The order shall have effect from 28/10/24 to 20/12/24.
