M25 MOTORWAY - JUNCTIONS 26 TO 27 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Essex under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to impose a 24-hour 50mph speed limit on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between a point approximately 423 metres east of the centreline of Sewardstone Road overbridge and a point approximately 1120 metres west of the centreline of Hobbs Cross Road overbridge. This measure is in the interests of road safety while water quality works including concrete, waterproofing, electrical and all associated works take place.

It is expected that the works will last for approximately 4 months starting on Monday

4th November 2024.

The Order will come into force on 2nd November 2024 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.

The speed limit will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when it is in operation during the works period.
