LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Upper Basinghall Street, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Upper Basinghall Street, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Butts Court and The Headrow. The bus gate on The Headrow between Albion Street and Upper Basinghall Street will be suspended for the duration of the works. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Butts Court, Short Street, Albion Street, The Headrow. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 30th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 5th November 2024. The closure will be in place 24hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC309521

(Stainbeck Avenue, Meanwood, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway for Gas main replacement works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in a south-easterly direction along Stainbeck Avenue, Meanwood, Leeds in the Moortown Ward between its junctions with Bentley Lane and Stonegate Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Stonegate Road, Meanwood Road, Stainbeck Road and Stainbeck Avenue. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 12th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Bagley Lane, Rodley, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway for a parking bay suspension to facilitate a water chamber inspection. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use the parking bays along Bagley Lane, Rodley, Leeds in the Calverley & Farsley Ward outside properties 19-19A Bagley Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 13th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 13th November 2024. The parking bay suspension will be in place between 09:30 and 15:30 hrs. G.Moate. Ref: RC311226

(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Parking) Order 2024 – Friday 1 November 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (holding of the above event) Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park, at any time when coning is in place, on Scatcherd Lane, Morley from the entrance to Morley Rugby Union Football Club near its junction with Worral Street to just beyond the entrance of Morley Cricket Club near to its junction with Queens Road. The Order is intended to come into operation on Friday 1 November 2024, from 5:00 hours until 23:59 hours. Mr N Gardiner

(York Place, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required for exterior building maintanance works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that:

•   No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along York Place, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Queen Street and York Place.

•   Reversal of the One-way system along York Place, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Queen Street and York Place.

A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Wellington Street – Northern Street – Whitehall Road – Thirsk Road – Wellington Street – Britannia Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sunday 10th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The closure will be in place between 04:00 and 12:00 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC310023
