What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (RESTRICTED BYWAY BOLTON 284) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.93) ORDER 2024

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative from 28th October 2024 and will prohibit all traffic from using Restricted Byway Bolton 284 commencing from Hall Lane point A at grid reference SD 65615 09177 in a generally south-southwest then west direction to point B Hall Lane at grid reference SD 65556 09150 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Bol284 over a total distance of approximately 75 metres.

An alternative route is available commencing from Hall Lane point A at grid reference SD 65615 09177 then Ox Hey Lane, Lostock Lane, Hall Lane to point B at grid reference SD 65556 09150.

The Order is necessary to facilitate the installation of a sewer pipe and will continue for a period of 6 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
