The priority narrowing to the north-east of the school has a kerb build-out on the south-east side of High Road, located outside no.1 Glebe Gardens with drivers travelling southwestwards required to give way to opposing traffic.
2. A priority narrowing, with kerb build-out on the southeast side of High Road, with cycle bypass lane, located adjacent to the Chapel of Ease Graveyard, with drivers travelling south-westwards required to give way to opposing traffic.
The above proposals are intended to promote lower traffic speeds and improve road safety in High Road, particularly near to the primary school.
(High Road, Guyhirn) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 202- Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of this Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on lengths of High Road, Guyhirn adjacent to the primary school and aforementioned traffic calming features.
