Hyde Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Installation Works

Parish of Creech St Michael Temporary Closure of Hyde Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hyde Lane (Phase 1) - from the junction with Bridgwater Road, southwards for a distance of 77 metres; and Hyde Lane (Phase 2) - from 76 metres east of the junction with Rockets Cottages, eastwards for a distance of 105 metres. A total distance of 182 metres. This Order will enable DMT to carry out phased works to install a narrow trench, microduct, tobies and network cables on behalf of Nexfibre (as and when signed on site).
The Order becomes effective on 24th October 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th October 2024 and last until 1st November 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
