Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on 24 October 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHILDS WAY AND OVERGATE, CAMPBELL PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2048)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow WHP Telecoms Ltd to carry out installation of telecommunications cabinet with use of a crane. 6th November 2024 – 7th November 2024 (24 Hours) Childs Way, Campbell Park (Eastbound and Westbound) – From its junction with South Enmore Roundabout to its junction with Woolstone Roundabout.
Overgate, Campbell Park (Northbound and Southbound) – From its junction with Glebe Roundabout to its junction with South Overgate Roundabout.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via the Childs Way, Marlborough Street, Portway, Brickhill Street (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (TIMBOLD DRIVE (PART), KENTS HILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (No.2) (reference: TTRO-2005)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following part of road to allow Aptus Utilities to safely undertake excavations for a road crossing to a new development in the carriageway: 28th October – 1st November 2024 (24 hours of every day)
Timbold Drive, Kents Hill – from its junction with Hammerwood Gate for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction.
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Hammerwood Gate, Brickhill Street and Hawkhurst Gate (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (RICKLEY LANE AND WHALLEY DRIVE, BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2057)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow SGN to safely undertake excavations for a gas mains replacement in the carriageway:
28th October – 3rd November 2024 (24 hours of every day)
Rickley Lane, Bletchley – from its southern junction with South Lawne to its junction with Corrigan Close.
Whalley Drive, Bletchley – from its junction with Rickley Lane for a distance of 70 metres in an easterly direction
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Sherwood Drive and Buckingham Road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (HARTWELL ROAD (PART), HANSLOPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2063)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Hartwell Road, Hanslope to allow iBlackBook - Engineered Connections to install new Foul and Surface Water Connections.
The above closure will come into effect on 28th October 2024 and is scheduled to be reopened on 1st November 2024 (24 Hours).
Hartwell Road, Hanslope – From the junction of Forest Road to the junction of Glebe Lane.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route (diversion route) will be via Forest Road, Wootton Road, Forest Road, Park Road, Hartwell Road (and vice versa).
