What is happening?

NORTHWOOD & TINKERSLEY (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order made by Derbyshire County Council on 18 April 2024 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close the pedestrian footbridge on public footpath No.1, has been further continued.
Alternative route: From the southern end of
the closure travel west along Northwood Lane until it meets Cote Hilloc and the northern end of the closure. Vice Versa from the north.
The Public Footpath will be closed until 10 April 2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety due to unsafe structure.
Derbyshire County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the closure. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
