C80 Longhoughton To Boulmer Village - Temporary Road and Footway Closure

C80 LONGHOUGHTON TO BOULMER VILLAGE BOULMER
(TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic and pedestrian traffic on that section of the C80 Longhoughton To Boulmer Village Boulmer from its junction with Boulmer Hall Farm Drive heading in a westerly direction for a length of 950 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th November 2024 until the 5th May 2025.
It is expected that the road and footway will only be closed from the 4th November 2024 until the 5th November 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th May 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C80, B1339 and vice-versa.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be on the opposite footway running parallel to the one that is being closed, there will be barriers in place marking out the temporary footway that is to be used whilst the closures are in place.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for resurfacing of the footway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
