Unicorn Subway - Temporary Footpath and Cycleway Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Unicorn Subway) (Temporary Footpath and Cycleway Closure) (No.153) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 28th October 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY FOOTPATH AND CYCLEWAY CLOSURE
Unicorn Road Footpath and Cycleway On Western Side
From its junction with Bishop Crispian Way to Unicorn Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate pump works due to flooding.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 28th October 2024 to 30th November 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Bishop Crispian Way to Unicorn Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
