(TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTPATH CLOSURE)
ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland.
U10 West End Horncliffe
Horncliffe Berwick Borough Footpath 008.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th November 2024 until the 26th November 2024
Road Closure:
U10 West End from its point with Horncliffe Berwick Borough Footpath heading in a north westerly direction for a length of 8 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the West End, The Square, Main Street and vice-versa.
Footpath Closure:
Horncliffe Berwick Borough Footpath 008 from its point with West End heading in a north westerly direction for a length of 22 metres.
The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via Horncliffe Berwick Borough Footpath 008 outside of Lady Well continuing on through to Horncliffe Gardens, Main Street, The Square and vice-versa.
It is expected that the road and footpath will only be closed from the 4th November 2024 until the 12th November 2024 and that they will be closed between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th November 2024

The closure has been requested by Touchstone Traffic on behalf of Scottish Power for a high voltage overhead line removal. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
