U3138 Turner Street - Temporary Road Closure

U3138 TURNER STREET AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3138 Turner Street Amble from outside the rear of number 1 Turner Street heading in a westerly direction for a length of 5 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th November 2024 until the 27th November 2024
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th November 2024 until the 13th November 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th November 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the North Street, Queen Street, Turner Street and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out manhole works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
