What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

High Street, Falkirk from 20:00 on 26/10/24 until 08:00 on 27/10/24. The prohibition is to allow for demolition works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to East Bridge Street in a westerly direction for approximately 200 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B8080, Cow Wynd or vice versa.

Barleyhill, Bonnybridge from 08:00 on 26/10/24 until 18:00 on 27/10/24. The prohibition is to allow for utility works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Main Street in a southerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Barleyhill, Patterson Place, Falkirk Road, Main Street or vice versa.

B818, Fankerton from 08:00 until 18:00 on 27/10/24. The prohibition is to allow for telecommunication works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Grahamshill Terrace in a westerly direction for approximately 300 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B818, A872, A803, A891, B822, B818 or vice versa.

James Street & Hornbeam Crescent, Laurieston from 07.30 hours on 30/10/2024 until 17.00 hours on 04/11/2024. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.

1. This Order temporarily closes James Street, Laurieston from its junction with Cotton Lane to its junction with Boyd Street.
2. The alternative route: Boyd Street, School Road, Hornbeam Crescent and vice versa.

Hornbeam Crescent & Hornbeam Crescent, Laurieston from 07.30 hours on 30/10/2024 until 17.00 hours on 04/11/2024. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.

1. This Order temporarily closes Hornbeam Crescent, Laurieston from its junction with Cotton Lane to approx. no.13.
2. The alternative route: James Street, Boyd Street, School Road, Hornbeam Crescent and vice versa.
