Kent Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Kent Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.138) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 28th October 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
KENT ROAD
From its junction with Shaftesbury Road to its junction with Ashburton Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach pole replacement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 09:30 to 15:30 on 28th October 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Kent Road, Western Parade, Clarence Parade, Osborne Road, Portland Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
