NOTICE OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

AT THE OLD RECTORY, MAWDESLEY
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order, made on 21 August 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of FP0919005 starting from the steps and stile at the eastern edge of High Street running between St Peter's Church's hedge and the garden fence of Lynbrook Lodge, onto an access track to the east of The Old Rectory continuing in a south-south-easterly direction to a point to the north-west of the field gate off School Lane, as shown on the Order Map.
The Order will amend the Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Lancashire accordingly.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Chorley Borough Council and at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.
Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF: LSG4/SM18/888.4085/PROW) not later than 21 November 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
