What is happening?

ENFIELD TOWN FIRE WORKS – TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate the holding of an event in Enfield Town Park, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Enfield (Enfield Town Area) (No.1) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2024 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

  2. The effect of the Order would be to temporarily restrict traffic, as and when directed by traffic signs, from as detailed in the streets specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice.

  3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to vehicles or, if the event allows, to police or emergency services' vehicles.

  4. The prohibitions would operate during the times and on the dates specified in column 2 of the Schedule in each case and would continue until the event has finished or completed.

  5. Whilst the prohibitions are in force, the alternative routes for diverted vehicles would be as stated in column 3 in each case. Access would be maintained for residents.

4 November 2024 06:30 hours and 13:30 hours

Rayleigh Road at its junction with Cecil Road; Sydney Road at its junction with Cecil Road; and Tiptree Drive at its junction with Essex RoadRoad Closure (except for access by residents of the closed streets) on 2 November 2024 between 15:00 hours and 21:30 hours
Rayleigh Road at its junction with Cecil Road; Sydney Road at its junction with Cecil Road; Park Crescent at its junction with London Road; Ladysmith Road at its junction with London Road; and Uvedale Road at its junction with London RoadRoad Closure (except for access by residents of the closed streets) on 2 November 2024 between 15:00 hours and 21:30 hours

Temporary closures at road junctions:
