What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

BROWNING ROAD, BRODIE ROAD, CEDAR PARK ROAD, GLENVILLE AVENUE, ST LUKES AVENUE AND PHIPPS HATCH LANE EN2 - 4373

Reason for 14(1) Order - Water works

Operational Date and times:

“At Any time” on 31 October 2024 for 4 months or until works are completed... these works will take place on a phased programme.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

  • Close Browning Road, between its junction with Phipps Hatch Lane and Merton Road;
  • Close Cedar Park Road, Brodie Road, Glenville Avenue, St Lukes Avenue and Merton Road EN2 at their junctions with Browning Road and
  • Suspend Parking on both sides of Browning Road between its junction with Phipps Hatch Lane and Merton Road;

WATERFALL ROAD N11 - 4375

Reason for 14(1) Order – Fireworks event at Walker Cricket Ground

Operational Date and times:

Between 4pm and 10pm on 2 November 2024 for 1 day.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

  • Close this road between Arnos Grove and Waterfall Close; and
  • Suspend parking on both sides of the road between Waterfall Close and Morton Way N14.

    While the closure is in place local diversions would be in operation.

SPRINGBANK N21 - 4377

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas works

Operational Date and times:

“At Any time” on 4 November 2024 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on both sides of this road from a point 50 metres from the junction with Eversley Park Road westwards for approximately 35 metres and at the right side adjacent to Nos. 10 to 18 Springbank.
