 WOULDHAM ROAD, BORSTAL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable telephone pole maintenance to be carried out -

Wouldham Road, Borstal - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between points 100 metres north and 100 metres south of the driveway to Borstal Sports and Social Club. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Burham Road, Pilgrims Way and School Lane.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 November 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

NORTH STREET, STROOD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a bridge safety examination to be carried out -

North Street, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between points 25 metres north and 25 metres south of North Street Railway Bridge. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 29 October 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 29 October 2024 and are programmed for completion within one night (with works taking place between 10pm and 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

B2000 ROAD, ROCHESTER (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable urgent carriageway road lining and other safety highway improvements to be carried out -

B2000 Road - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between junction of Hasted slip road from A289 and the mini-roundabout junction with Cooling Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. This will be an overnight closure commencing 8pm for five nights. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained. B2000 will alternately be closed for 90 minutes and re-opended for 60 minutes throughout each night.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on Monday, 4 November 2024 and are programmed for completion within five nights (with works taking place between 8pm and 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
